The Importance Of Names
58Getting Stuck With A Dumb Name!
Some parents seem to think about their kid when they name them. The other day there was a mom with her little girl and the kid's name was Shadow. What kind of name is that for a kid? I don't think she liked it because she just didn't come when mom called her. It was like she was calling a dog or a cat instead of a little girl. I don't think the little girl liked it otherwise why would she ignore mommy? I think some people just don't think about what's going to happen in the future when these tiny little people become talking and walking people. The kid wasn't really at the age of much talking but I'm betting she was thinking about what a sucky name her parents gave her.
I think we should get a freebie name change. When most people turn about fifteen and a half or sixteen they go for their learner's permit to drive so why not have the chance to change your name when you go for that or a photo ID. Names are a big thing so it sucks when a person doesn't like it or has a really dumb name. It's such a pain to go to the trouble of changing it that it would be nice if we had the one chance to do it hassle free. People should really think about their kid before giving them a crappy name. Rumor is an example along with Apple of what not to name your kid. My ex brother in law's father is named Clovis and his grandfather was Orange which is ridiculous.
