World Of Blogs

Today many people have blogs and in some cases more than one. They are a great way to show with people what you happen to be thinking about. There are places you can join and have a blog or journal and be able to connect with other people like LiveJournal which is a good place to go. You have the option of showing your journal to anyone that comes across it or you can make it exclusive to friends. The settings are up to you and it's not too hard to figure out. One big plus is that you can have a free account and at some later time pay which of course gives you more options.

Blogger is also a good place to go to if you are new to blogging but there are ways to change the template and there are help pages to walk you through some stuff. You can also add AdSense to your blog there to make a little money. Hey who doesn't want to make a little money simply by putting an ad on your blog and make a little cash every time someone clicks on it. It doesn't hurt to put up but only time and word of mouth will decide on whether it pays off at least for me.

Xanga is another place you can have a journal that has some things in common with LiveJournal. It is harder to find other people here because they don't have the option of looking for other people there that share the same interests so it's not really all that great if you want to find other people that share some of your interests. They do have blogrings which link blogs together that happen to like something like Hello Kitty for example but so far I haven't had much luck with connecting with other people. I've had better luck on LiveJournal.

Of course Myspace has a blog included and that's a simple way to keep a blog but if you are someone that is interested in possibly earning a little cash from the blog this wouldn't be the place to blog since many times these blogs are excluded so get a blog somewhere else. This would just be a blog that you want to do surveys on or post every so often instead of daily unless you just like blogging and don't care about making some money.

There are a lot of places out there so it could make your head spin just at the thought of tracking one down. It's really up to the indiviudal about what you want out of your blog or journal. If you want to network with other people LiveJournal would be a good place to go to. There are also blogs for those that are aimed at a certain topic like Hello Kitty. You can go to http://www.sanriotown.com and sign up for email which includes a blog. Vampire Rave is for the vampire lovers at there which includes a blog and a system that you work your way up through to gain more access to areas of the website which can be found at http://ww.vampirerave.com.

There is another place called Vampire Freaks which can be found at http://www.vampirefreaks.com which I don't recommend if you happen to like writing more than one paragraph in your blog because it cuts you off for some reason. If you tend to be short with your entries this would be a great place for you but not if you happen to be one that can go on and on.

DeadJournal sounds really cool but to be honest after I got the code which you need in order to sign up unless you pay for an account it isn't all that special other than the name. It is similar in many ways to LiveJournal but it was a disappointment to me. You can't even put a picture in your blog entry but it isn't a bad place to be if that's what you are looking for because I still say that it's a pretty cool name.

So if you want a blog go with Blogger or LiveJournal because those two are ones that a person could just sign up with and start writing right away without a lot of confusion. They are pretty simple and easy to figure out and even with a free account at LiveJournal there are ways to change your layout to make the layout more you. Another journal that is like LiveJournal is GreatestJournal and if happen to be a person that loves the idea of being able to use 100 icons this would be a place to consider too.
